Maps ‘N Bags is a personal blog written and edited by me, Bruna (hi, guys!!). This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. This blog also has affiliate links, so if you make a purchase I’ll receive a small commission for it, at no extra cost for you, and you’ll help Maps ‘N Bags to keep up and running. If you have any questions about the companies or my status as an affiliate, please don’t hesitate to contact me via e-mail.
We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
Why do I do it?
I love to write and share as many tips as possible, but it costs me a lot of time and also money. These sponsorships and affiliate marketing links are a way to keep the blog up and running.
Maps ‘N Bags abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion, and identity. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content at the end of each post.
I’m compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Even though I receive compensation for (some of) my posts or advertisements, I will always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely mines. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest. If a company has a problem with this disclosure, we don’t work together.
What is in there for you?
- It has a good cost-benefit: you can very often get a discount or skip the line, sometimes both (it depends on each ticket);
- Practicalities: You have everything set before you go on vacation, so you just go to your destination and enjoy. Besides the fact that you receive the ticket in your email;
- Trust: All links in Maps ‘N Bags are from a trusted source. I don’t make partnerships with scam companies or anything like that. As a fact, I’ll also always post the tickets to the places I’ve been myself (if they’re worth it, of course);
- You contribute to keeping Maps ‘N Bags alive: As I said above, I write this blog with passion, but it costs me quite some money and time to make everything nice for you as I work hard on it! Yes, you’re the star here! So when you buy anything from an affiliate link, for example, I receive a very small commission and that helps me to keep going. 🙂
Does that influence my opinion or reviews?
NO! That’s a big no! I’ll only post a link to products or services that either I bought myself AND liked (not the case for reviews as it can also be bad, right?), or that I trust and think you’ll benefit from it.
Why did I write this very long disclosure?
Because I do believe in transparency, so you have the right to know I might win a small (very small) percentage of the things you buy from those links, but don’t worry! You’re not paying more for it!
Here I also comply with the FTC ruling (not that I need to since my blog isn’t based in the USA), but since many of my readers are based in the States, I think it’s important to give them a security they’re used to.
I agree with the Blog With Integrity pledge.
